Mints Medical /Orthopaedic Practitioners
As part of a multidisciplinary team the post holders will have responsibility for assessment of care needs and the development of programmes of care, and/or the implementation and evaluation of these programmes ensuring the delivery of high quality care to patients. In the absence of the Team Leader for MINTS the post holders will have responsibility for the management of the MINTS service including supervision, development and deployment of junior staff. As a Registered Nurse with current revalidation and NMC registration you should be educated to working/towards/operating at degree level. Graduate Certificate in Urgent Care or equivalent and Mints Major/Mints Minor Injury Practitioner/and or Emergency Nurse Practitioner qualification are essential. Post graduate expertise within the speciality that demonstrates the required breadth of knowledge required to lead safely, effectively and efficiently and comprehensive knowledge of clinical guidelines and standards within the speciality is also required.
