Job Description

Applications are invited from enthusiastic candidates for the post of Motion Analysis Lab Coordinator at the Golden Jubilee National Hospital, Clydebank, Glasgow. The Motion Analysis lab will be completed in November 2016 with state-of-the–art Vicon equipment installed. Candidates are expected to be qualified to degree level - either in the field of physiotherapy or an appropriate bio-engineering subject. Experience of recruiting to research projects in an NHS environment would be desirable as would a background in orthopaedics. Training will be given in the operation and maintenance of the Motion Analysis Lab however, the successful candidate will be expected to develop and maintain a suit of Standard Operating Procedures relevant to the operation of the Lab. Candidates should have highly developed organisational and communication skills and be proficient in the use of Microsoft applications. Motion Analysis will be carried out either as an outcome measure for research projects, or privately. In both cases, the successful candidate will be expected to care for individuals during Motion Analysis and to provide reports as appropriate. The post reports to the Golden Jubilee Senior Surgical/Anaesthetics Research Nurse.
