Job Description

About the Job Care UK currently delivers a Musculoskeletal Clinical Assessment and Treatment Service (MSK CATS) Service across the Lincolnshire Region. The MSK CATS service is a referral based appointment service, meaning that patients will have to be referred on via their own GP. Our clinicians then assess the patient’s referral and decide on which service and course of treatment will be best for them. We deliver a fast-track, rapid access service and aim to see our patients within 2 weeks of referral from their GP and aim to have completed their initial care within 4 – 6 weeks.

We have a job opening for a Musculoskeletal (MSK) Physiotherapist to join our MSK CATS team on a full-time permanent basis.

Lincolnshire MSK CATS operates from four convenient locations across Lincolnshire which are listed below. All of the sites are within existing health centres and hospitals. You will be required to travel between these locations as part of your job, so having a full UK driving license and access to your own vehicle is a must!

•North Hykeham Health Centre, North Hykeham
•Marisco Medical Practice, Mablethorpe
•Stickney Surgery, Stickney
•Hickman Street health centre, Gainsborough

Within this job you will be responsible for assessing patients with diverse presentations and complex MSK conditions. You will also be responsible for developing, planning and delivering effective individualised treatment programmes to patients, ensuring that you continually evaluate patient progress and reassessing and altering their treatment where necessary.

If you would like more information on Care UK, please visit our website: The Requirements In order for you to be considered for the job, as a minimum we are looking for you to:
•Be a qualified Physiotherapist with valid HCPC pin number.
•Have experience at working at a Band 6 level or equivalent
•Have experience of working within an outpatient MSK setting
•Have excellent knowledge of physiotherapy in MSK conditions
•Have a full UK Driving License and access to your own transport

It would be nice for you to have any one of the below, although these are not essential:
•Acupuncture training
•MSK postgraduate qualification Salary & Benefits This is a full-time permanent job that is 375 hours per week on a rota basis. We are open evenings and Saturdays, so you must be flexible for evenings/weekends. Dependant on experience, the salary for this job is up to £30,000 per annum.

We also offer 25 days annual leave + 8 public holidays, Contributory pension scheme 2-5%, as well as regional/national opportunities, cycle to work scheme, childcare vouchers and online discounts.

In order to support you in this job, we will give you the unique opportunity to work and liaise with spinal/orthopaedic consultants and Extended Scope Practitioners (ESP’s). We are keen to promote each clinicians individual development through supervision with physiotherapy and ESP colleagues.

In addition to this, we can offer you CPD, Revalidation, free online and face to face training, and other regional/national opportunities.
