Job Description

Newly Qualified Staff Nurse (RGN or RMN) - Residential Home / Nursing Home - Somerset - salary up to £14 per hour on days and £15 per hour on nights

You will be a Staff Nurse (RGN or RMN) seeking a permanent opportunity in an Elderly Nursing and Residential Home in Somerset. This is a fantastic opportunity for a Newly Qualified nurse as my client offers to help you complete your preceptorship as well as offering on-going training through the in-house qualified nurse teacher.

The home has exceptional facilities having been renovated to provide a state of the art luxury nursing home setting and was rated highly in the last CQC inspection. As a Staff Nurse you will work 3 long nights/days a week.

Within the role as Staff Nurse (RGN or RMN) you will be undertaking the following duties:

•Providing and supervising the delivery of high standards of care to residents within the nursing home
•Undertaking supervision of all staff in your team ensuring safe and high quality practice is given
•Administering medication and monitoring and observing for any side effects
•Assessing, planning, implementing and evaluating care plans
•Using inter-personal skills to reassure distressed clients and communicating with relatives
•Dealing with residents with complex needs

As a Staff Nurse (RGN or RMN), you will have:

•Experience in a similar setting
•A Registered General Nurse (RGN) or a Registered Mental Health Nurse (RMN) qualification
•Current registration with the NMC and a legal right to work in the UK
