We are Sirona care & health, a Community Interest Company committed to providing integrated health and social care services to people across Bath & North East Somerset and South Gloucestershire. For us, it’s about the personal approach; we take pride in what we do and deliver the high standard of care that we’d expect for ourselves and our families.
In return we offer an excellent range of benefits including generous holiday entitlement, paid enhancements for bank holiday/night working (where applicable), a contributory pension scheme (including, for some roles, the NHS and Local Government pension schemes), a planned induction program, extensive learning and development opportunities, health and wellbeing programmes, flexible working patterns, staff excellence awards, childcare vouchers, in-house physiotherapy support and more!
If you are, we are looking for dynamic and innovative Staff Nurses to join our friendly and supportive team on Elgar 2 Community Rehabilitation Ward at Southmead Hospital, Bristol.
At Elgar 2 ward, we are passionate about delivering high quality care to those individuals that are with us, whilst empowering and supporting them to reach their optimal functional potential and well-being. We have 38 beds on the unit and provide rehabilitation for predominately older people following an acute hospital stay for acute illness or injury. We look to enable patients to return to their usual residence in a timely manner, often with the support of our Community colleagues.
We actively promote a multi-disciplinary model of care and have the opportunity to build on the current provision to ensure we develop an outstanding, person-centred service delivery. We are supported by our GPs with Specialist Interest, who work closely with our Advanced Nurse Practitioner and our Consultant colleagues who provide weekly input. Our nursing and therapy teams work closely together with our social care teams, to make sure our patients experience an exceptional stay whilst in our unit.
We are fully committed to providing an environment where our staff can grow and develop. We offer preceptorship for our new staff , regular 1:1 supervision within a nursing team and actively promote additional training and development for all grades.
We offer an excellent range of benefits including generous holiday entitlement (27 days rising to 30 days after two years’ service), contributory pension scheme (NHS & Local authority transferable), a comprehensive learning and development programme, flexible working arrangements, health and wellbeing programmes, employee assistance scheme, childcare vouchers and employee discount schemes.
