The DVT Service receives referrals from GP’s, A&E and other health professionals and provides comprehensive assessment, diagnosis and treatment for its patients.

The service also initiates patients on anti-coagulation, takes ward referrals for early discharge of patients with Venous Thromboembolism and for patients who require anticoagulation monitoring offering a community visiting service.

This is a unique opportunity for experienced Nurse Practitioners to further develop skills in the field of VTE and anti-coagulation.
