We require a nurse practitioner to join our clinical team (of GPs, HCA and a Practice Nurse) to help manage the ‘on the day’ demand in our busy GP practice.
The successful candidate will have the ability to prescribe and a knowledge of Chronic Disease Management would also be an advantage.
We are a friendly supportive practice with a list size of 3500. We are based in the town of Burnley excellent commuter links to Manchester, Bury, Rochdale, Oldham and Blackburn.
This is a training practice taking on 4th year Medical Students from Manchester Medical Students who have achieved Honours in their OSCE Exams and First prize in their families presentation.
Lead GP is research trained - so their is ample oppurtunity to involve yourself in reasearch activities.
