April Cottage is looking to recruit qualified nurses as part of our development of the new service at Epsom and the Intensive Support Team. We are currently working in the existing service in Charlwood and are planning to move soon to the new purposely designed service at St Ebba’s in Epsom.
April Cottage is the Specialist Assessment and Treatment Service for adults with learning disabilities and mental health needs and complex behaviour. We provide individualized support to people with challenging behaviour with a real focus on recovery. We are based near Gatwick in Charlwood with good access to the M25.
We are looking to appoint a qualified nurse with a qualification in LD or Mental Health nursing to a Band 5 position. The ideal applicant would be person centered, enthusiastic and flexible, able to work in a challenging environment, with good leadership skills and able to demonstrate a professional knowledge of current initiatives and the ability to put these in practice.
There are good opportunities for development as the team offers clinical and managerial support, the Trust offers professional development courses and the appointed candidate will receive supervision and training.
