Nursing Assistant – Full time 375 hours per week and Part time positions available

Weston Area Health NHS Trust is looking for Nursing Assistants who are passionate about delivering high quality and safe care to patients. As a Nursing Assistant at Weston you will play a key role in ensuring that patients have a safe, quality journey from admission to discharge. The hospital has a friendly atmosphere and enjoys close professional links with neighbouring trusts in Bristol. Weston General Hospital is a teaching hospital and places students from both the University of Bristol and the University of the West of England.

We currently have vacancies in our Emergency and Planned Care Division with part time and full time hours available. We are fully committed to personal and professional development and will support you to achieve your full potential.

The post holder will promote and maintain a safe and comfortable environment for all patients and a pleasant and receptive atmosphere for all patients and visitors. Under the supervision of the registered nurse they will deliver essential nursing care, reporting variations in observations and any matters concerning the comfort and welfare of patients promptly, clearly and accurately to the nurse in charge of the ward.

The post holder will be working in an unpredictable environment within the Clinical area (e.g. violence and aggression, Clinical emergencies
