We are looking for highly motivated, enthusiastic nursing assistants with experience in or interest in caring for older adults within an in-patient setting.

Those appointed will be based in an in-patient area within the Complex Care Services, Liverpool of the Trusts Local Services Division.

We are recruiting for Acorn Ward which is our Dementia Specialist Ward. You will need to have a passion for caring for people with dementia, working under the direction of registered mental health nurses and other members of the multi disciplinary team. The successful candidates will be expected to work within a person centred framework promoting active engagement of the person with dementia in all aspects of their care. The ward actively encourages all members of staff to engage in Best Practice in Dementia Care Course, supervision and supporting people's engagement in group and individual activities.
