Applications are invited one Consultant post in Obstetrics & Gynaecology at Broomfield Hospital, Chelmsford. This is a new post for 10 PA’s.
The successful applicants will provide, along with the existing Obstetrics & Gynaecology Team, an effective specialist service in Broomfield for the people of Mid Essex. The post-holder will be expected to provide General Obstetrics & Gynaecology with a special interest in Ambulatory Gynaecology (Gynae scanning and Hysteroscopy).
The Trust has a reputation for providing high quality well-structured care in a friendly and supportive environment. We are looking for dynamic colleagues with enthusiasm and leadership qualities. You should be licensed and fully registered with the GMC and be on the Specialist Register for Obstetrics & Gynaecology or within six months of achieving this.
The Department of Obstetrics & Gynaecology services a population of approximately 350,000 and is staffed by 8 consultants, 4 Specialty Doctors, 4 Registrars, 8 junior doctors, together with specialist nursing team. There is a strong emphasis on teaching and training with 5 trainees in the department on recognised training rotations.
