Hours: 35 hours

Location: QEF Neuro Rehabilitation Services, Banstead Place, Park Road, Banstead, SM7 3EE

Main Duties: Neuro Rehabilitation Services offers a service to young adults who have acquired brain injury. The post holder will provide a quality service to clients, and will manage a complex clinical caseload. They will also provide information and advice to other professionals and carers in relation to client management. The post holder will be expected to participate in the development and monitoring of services in conjunction with their supervisor. Responsible for assisting in induction and supervision of unqualified staff, and participates in the education of OT students and work experience students, when appropriate. Training opportunities exist, ensuring staff participation in continuing professional development.

Person Specification: Diploma or Degree in Occupational Therapy.

Membership of Health Professionals council. Post Qualification experience. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Experience of working with young adults with physical disabilities.
