Hampshire Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust provides services through its three hospitals in Andover, Basingstoke and Winchester. We provide all general hospital services for planned and emergency care as well as specialist services. These include Pseudomyxoma Peritonei for which we are one of the only two national centres treating this rare abdominal cancer. The Trust also provides services at the Countess of Brecknock Hospice in Andover and outpatient services are provided in Alton, Bordon and Romsey.

Royal Hampshire County Hospital, Winchester are looking for a full time 10 WTE Band 6 Occupational Therapist to join the Acute Team to cover maternity leave on a fixed term contract for one year.
We are looking for a candidate who has experience within the Acute setting and who is committed to ongoing service improvement and the development of junior staff.
You would be joining a supportive, enthusiastic and creative team of Occupational Therapists, Physiotherapists and Therapy Practitioners who have a long history of working together in providing a Therapy service to the surgical and medical wards including AMU.
As a Band 6 at HHFT you can expect to receive regular and robust supervision by the Band 7 Clinical Lead, to lead on service improvement projects, to supervise Band 5 and Therapy Assistant colleagues and to provide clinical support and guidance to Therapy students from our partner Universities.
We provide a service across 7 days so a commitment to 7 day working is essential.
