Base: North Oxfordshire Learning Disability Team (Banbury)
Hours: 375 fixed term 1 year contract
Salary: band 5
The North Oxfordshire Learning Disability Team is a multi disciplinary specialist community team, looking for a highly motivated Occupational Therapist (Band 5) to provide occupational therapy for people with learning disability in the north and west of Oxfordshire. The successful applicant would be part of a small team of occupational therapists and be involved in a range of clinical activities. Line management and clinical supervision is through the Band 6 or Clinical Specialist OT. This is an excellent opportunity to support clients with learning disabilities to achieve optimum health within their communities and to work in collaboration with other health and social care colleagues.
The successful applicant will become part of friendly and supportive team and will be offered regular supervision, appraisal and opportunities for continued professional development.
NB: A car driver and to have access to a car that can be used for work purposes is essential for this post.
