Further to the restructuring of the Occupational Therapy department we are looking to recruit into our Band 5 rotational scheme, which has recently integrated with our Community colleagues, Sussex Community Foundation Trust to form a comprehensive programme of six monthly rotations.
The scope of the rotations are comprehensive and include: Stroke Unit, Neuro-surgery/ Major Trauma, Sub-acute inpatient neuro-rehab, ED and hospital rapid discharge, Medical, Surgery and orthopaedics and in the community Mental Health, Intermediate Care and Paediatrics.
You will work in a team based structure with senior OT leads, but you will also be an integral part of the specialty MDT working closely with Physiotherapists to provide an integrated approach to rehabilitation and discharge.
If you are keen and motivated to develop your general and specialist assessment, rehabilitation and clinical reasoning skills in a broad field of clinical presentations in both in an acute and Community setting - this may be the job for you?
