Office Based Coordinating Nurse
Job Description

Are you an RGN looking for a change of career?  Do you have at least 3 years experience in Adult Nursing in either acute, ITU/ICU or emergency care? Or experience in the military?   Looking for a role that is mostly office based?

Our client is recruiting Coordinating Emergency Nurses to join their Medical Team in West London, that provides 24 hour emergency assistance to over 60 million people worldwide, working on site within a team of 50 medical professionals.The positions are office based primarily, (there is the opportunity for field based work), and you will be assisting and interfacing with clients and members on medical matters from all around the world.

You will:

Provide pre trip screening and advice
Make referrals
Undertake medical monitoring of patients
Assess calls from business travellers
Advise on clinic locations around the world
Manage the health and safety of members
Interact with operations and logistical team coordinators to ensure optimal quality case management
Telephonically triage medical requests and provide medical monitoring of ongoing cases
Assist in the logistical preparation of evacuations..
Liaise with medical and operational staff to facilitate the efficient running of medical assistance cases
Speak with international medical professionals or obtain medical reports for members treated or hospitalised.
Source and/or organise the referral and/or admission of members to doctors and medical facilities.
Review of the medical treatment received or recommended to members
Work a mixed rota   

Qualifications and skills required;

    Broad Medical Knowledge
    Experience in acute care
    Must be a registered General Nurse (currently registered with NMC)
    Excellent written and oral English language
