Office Based Medical Reporting Nurse
Job Description

Are you an RGN, or RN looking for a change of career? Looking for mostly office hours, 7.00- 3.30pm/ 12 - 8pm. This role is Monday - Friday 30pm in addition weekend work but that is on occasion only (approx. once every 4-6 weeks) from 10am to 6.30pm. This role is office based.

Our client is recruiting office based nurses to join their Medical Team in West London, that provides 24 hour emergency assistance to over 60 million people worldwide, working on site within a team of medical professionals. The positions are office based Monday - Friday. Nurse candidates need to have a medical and/or surgical background, must have excellent communication and administration skills and clinically knowledgeable. The co-ordinator will be responsible for receiving the medical reports from overseas, assessing the reports and referring them to the appropriate medical teams.

General duties:

Collaborates and coordinates with providers and/or members of the treatment team to evaluate clinical appropriateness of treatment and interventions
Works to ensure treatment provided is timely, and designed to meet the individual’s needs in a person centered, recovery focused manner.
Works with providers and facilities to monitor and evaluate care at regular intervals to ensure progress towards goals.
Liaise with medical and operational staff to facilitate the efficient running of medical assistance cases
Speak with international medical professionals or obtain medical reports for members treated or hospitalised.
Source and/or organise the referral and/or admission of members to doctors and medical facilities.

Qualifications and skills required;

Broad Medical Knowledge
Must be a registered General Nurse (currently registered with NMC)
Excellent written and oral English language
Strong administration and IT skills
