If you would like to gain experience in Cancer Nursing, we are able to offer a variety of opportunities on our inpatient chemotherapy ward and our Acute Oncology unit which are co-located. We also offer in house training for those with limited or no previous cancer experience and an opportunity to work on our general inpatient oncology ward to gain wider exposure to the speciality.
We are expanding our innovative nurse-led chemotherapy services across all three sites at Imperial Healthcare NHS Trust. Our Oncology Chemotherapy Services have been awarded CHKS accreditation ensuring high quality care for all patients receiving anti-cancer treatment.
We are a national centre for Gestational Trophoblastic disease including a Teenage and Young Adult Service. Our Chemotherapy units and Inpatient wards also treat all solid tumours. We are committed to entering our patients into Clinical Trials and have a large research centre on site.

6 South ward is a newly refurbished ward comprised of two units; an in-patient chemotherapy ward with a compliment of 13 beds for scheduled elective and emergency chemotherapy in-patients, and an Acute Oncology Service (AOS) Unit with 10 assessment spaces supported by Advanced Nurse Practitioners.
