Applications are invited for the post of Oncoplastic Fellow to work in the Department of Breast Surgery at Queen’s Hospital.
Burton Hospitals treats approximately 300 new cases of breast cancer per year between three consultant breast surgeons and has close links with Breast Plastics in Birmingham. This 12 months fixed term contract opportunity will offer a real insight into the delivery of a modern Oncoplastic breast service. There will be no on-call commitment attached to this post. This locally funded post is aimed at Senior Trainees or Specialty Doctors looking to complete their specialist breast surgical training. Applications are welcomed from both general and plastic surgery backgrounds.
The Hospital is a medium sized DGH situated within the Heart of England and the National Forest. Nearby transport links to the midland motorway network offer easy reach to several cities that provide good cultural and shopping facilities.
