We are looking for an enthusiastic, motivated and dynamic staff nurse to join our friendly progressive Day surgery team. Previous experience in a Peri –operative or surgical nursing environment would be an advantage.
As a staff nurse with past experience you will act as an effective role model for junior nurses ,student nurses and student ODPs a mentorship Qualification would be advantageous as you will be expected to contribute towards the ongoing professional development of staff and multi-disciplinary students.
If you have recently qualified and completed your preceptorship a role in the day surgery unit will afford you the opportunity to gain vast experience in caring for the surgical/endoscopy patients not only in the ward area but also in the admission bays endoscopy and the recovery areas.
The day surgery unit is currently operational Monday to Friday 730 until 8 pm however service expansion to include a Saturday service are to be implemented soon.
