Due to a recent investment, an exciting opportunity has arisen for the right person to join our highly respected and well-established Osteoporosis Service, delivering high quality, safe and effective care for our patients living with, or at risk of osteoporosis. We are looking to appoint a motivated, enthusiastic nurse who is committed to the delivery of the highest quality and excellence in care, and whose passion and experience can inspire and influence others.
The ideal candidate would be a dynamic Registered Nurse with experience and expertise in caring for primarily older people with an interest in bone health and frailty syndrome. We are looking for individuals who are enthusiastic, innovative, and looking to develop their expertise and leadership skills within the Care of the Older persons service. A flexible working approach is necessary in this role to respond to the clinical requirements and exciting on-going service developments.
The post holder will work primarily within the Medicine Business Unit but also closely with colleagues in Primary Care, and within a wider multidisciplinary team of professionals expert in the care of this complex patient group. You will be expected to further enhance the level of expertise amongst colleagues by supporting the Band 7 Osteoporosis Nurse Specialist. This involves raising awareness of osteoporosis and frailty, and supporting the professional development of colleagues by the provision of supportive education and liaison.
This post is subject to enhanced DBS disclosure.
