Craegmoor Supporting You in South Wales is a service that provides support for adults with learning disabilities and/or mental health support needs. Our team provides support to individuals living independently with their own tenancies.
Supporting You in South Wales are looking for Outreach support workers, to support adults who live in their own homes. You will be flexible, have a great sense of humour, be able to listen, be patient, and most of all be passionate about person centered support.
We provide a range of tenancies in shared houses and individual flats as well as providing outreach support to vulnerable adults in the community with learning disabilities, mental health, challenging behaviour and autism. Outreach Support Workers are crucial to the provision of this support ensuring that the highest quality of support is given to our clients.
The role requires directly supporting individuals in their own homes with daily living skills, household duties, medication, personal hygiene, and having fun.
Diploma level 2 is desirable but not essential. All employees benefit from a full induction and training programme as part of their personal development. Successful applicants will be required to work mainly at one service within an area, but may be required to work at another service to cover sick or annual leave. You will be expected to work shift patterns.
