This is an exciting opportunity for a suitably qualified, dynamic and passionate individual to join our Children’s community Nursing team. Working within the scope of practice as an autonomous Children’s community advanced nurse practitioner.

The successful candidate will work across Kirklees in a community setting assessing Children referred by a GP to a specific criteria. They will also work closely with GP’s to mitigate the risk for children who frequently attend hospital or GP practice.

The successful post holder must be able to fulfil the travel requirements of the post and fulfil the essential areas within the person specification.

The ideal candidate is expected to possess

  • Independent Children’s Nurse Prescriber qualification

  • Experience of working autonomously whilst assessing, diagnosing and managing patients

  • Excellent communication, organisational and interpersonal skills

  • Experience of dealing with minor Ailments, long term conditions, developmental needs, and continence.

All posts recruited to by Locala Community Partnerships CIC (whether on a fixed term or substantive basis) are subject to a 6 month probationary period.

As a registered body with DBS, Locala will administer the application on your behalf and the cost will be recovered from your salary over the first three months of employment. The rate is £44 for an Enhanced check.
