Location: Basildon and Thurrock University Hospital.

Are you an inspirational children’s nurse?

Due to the recent development and planned opening of a new dedicated Paediatric Assessment Unit co located with the children’s A&E department in the summer of 2015 we are looking for paediatric nurses to join our Children’s Emergency Department team. You need to be highly motivated and able to deliver a high standard of nursing care.

Our Children’s Emergency Department is well established it is purpose built and opened in 2010 and has been open 24hrs a day 7 days a week for over 2 years now.

We can offer opportunities for newly qualified staff nurses as part of a rotational programme within the Paediatric service, with a full preceptorship programme and we welcome existing band 5 staff nurses. You will be joining a dedicated, highly trained and experienced nursing team. Together with the Senior Nursing team in this area we provide a supportive learning and diverse environment for you to develop your own nursing skills and enhance your career development.

We can offer exciting opportunity of rotations that incorporates experience in Paediatric medical, surgical, oncology and HDU experience.
