As a Nurse you will work with our Dorset children, mainly in their own home, offering frequent respite care on one or two-person sits. However, some sessions may be in the hospice, if the parents choose to give their child this opportunity. You will have at least one year post-qualification (RSCN/RN (Child Branch) - Diploma or Degree essential),experience of working with sick children and their families. Salaries range from £22,757 to £29,277 p.a. depending on experience, plus Paediatric Uplift of £1,500 per annum (FTE).

A full driving licence and use of a vehicle for business purposes are essential. Flexibility will be required to cover days, evenings, weekends, school holidays and occasional overnights. Rotas are issued six weeks in advance.

Members of the NHS Pension Scheme may retain membership on joining Julia's House.
