We are seeking to recruit an enthusiastic, highly motivated paediatric occupational therapist to join our Children’s Integrated Therapy Service. You will be based at the Multi-Agency Specialist Hub, Greenbanks in Garlinge, Margate.

This is a fixed term post within an integrated team of speech and language therapists, physiotherapists, occupational therapists and specialist nurse advisors/keyworkers, as well as therapy assistants. This is an experienced, well established team where you will receive supervision/support from band 7 occupational therapists and experienced band 6 occupational therapists, as well as wider support from colleagues across the Service.

Clinical Governance training days take place three times a year. Group clinical supervision sessions are arranged quarterly and regular opportunities to joint-work cases are available. Further excellent training opportunities are also available, in addition to a well-supported preceptorship programme.

As a member of the integrated team you will be providing Occupational Therapy services to children aged from birth to 19 years with a variety of neuro-disabilities and conditions.

You will be working within a strong, friendly and well established team as well as working in collaboration with colleagues in health, education and social services.

You will have already started your career in paediatrics. Excellent supervision/ development programmes in place.

For Agenda for Change posts based within the Dartford, Gravesham & Swanley areas of Kent Community Health NHS Foundation Trust also receive an allowance of a 5% high cost area allowance on top of basic salary up to a maximum of £1,652.
