The above post is based at Rochester Healthy Living Centre and forms part of the wider children's therapy team. The team consists of physiotherapists, OTs, SALT, podiatrists, dietitians and continence nurse advisor. We are a lively, dynamic group that works hard to improve the lives of children.
All physiotherapy is delivered as far as possible as a multi-agency approach. Our team prides itself on cross boundary working and you will be expected not only to enhance your physiotherapy skills but to learn basic skills from all the listed professions. We offer excellent training opportunities locally and support external courses.
There will be the expectation that you will gain experience across each of the specific physiotherapy teams of early years/schools and MSK.
We are looking for a band 5 paediatric physiotherapist who wishes to gain general experience working with children between 0-19 years. We offer the opportunity to work in a variety of settings including nursery, schools, clinics and patient homes. As part of a team you will be expected to supervise assistants.
