Coventry and Warwickshire Partnership Trust was formed in 2006 and became integrated with NHS Coventry in April 2011.
The Trust provides a full range of expanding physical, mental health and learning disability services to children, young adults, adults and older adults over many sites across Coventry, Warwickshire and Solihull.
Services are provided to a population of over one million people living in Coventry and Warwickshire and also a wider geographical area in some of our specialist services
Our catchment area has a population of around one million people, and we see on average around 5,000 patients every day.

Coventry and Warwickshire Partnership Trust (CWPT) invites applications for the above post based at The City of Coventry Health Centre in Coventry. This is a replacement post in an established service supported by an experienced multidisciplinary team comprising Consultants, specialty doctors, nurses, pharmacist and medicines management.
This part time locum (fixed term) consultant post for 6 months offers a specialist service for Integrated Sexual Health. The post holder will work in the Directorate of Integrated Community Service of CWPT which includes Integrated Sexual Health Service providing a comprehensive specialist service for Contraceptive (including long acting reversible contraception) and Sexual Health (CASH) and HIV service.
Coventry has high rate of sexual transmitted infections, teenage pregnancy and HIV infection. There is also an increase in demand of expert services needed across the whole of the Coventry region for other sexually transmitted infections.
This department sees over 25,000 patients, including over 750 HIV patients in the department. Teenage pregnancy rate is high. This service provides specialist service for family planning and reproductive health, the service also offer family planning training to the GPs, therefore, an FRSH trainer would be a desirable candidate
The successful candidate will join the consultant team and deliver a high quality specialist service for the different services this Department provides. The post will be based on a 6-PA job plan (45 PAs in Direct Clinical Care and 15 PAs in Supporting Professional Activities).
The Trust is a teaching Trust with close links to Warwick Medical School. The post holder will be expected to take part in undergraduate and postgraduate teaching. The post holder will also be expected to participate in the necessary supporting professionals activities such as audits in order to work towards successful Revalidation. The Trust is committed to the Continuing Professional Development of all doctors and appropriate study leave and funding will be granted.
We are looking for individuals who are experienced and work well in a multidisciplinary team. They must also be excellent communicators. The applicant must possess the appropriate qualifications (MRCP or appropriate postgraduate qualification)
