NHS TAYSIDE DIRECTORATE OF SPECIALIST SERVICES DEPARTMENT OF OPHTHALMOLOGY NINEWELLS HOSPITAL & MEDICAL SCHOOL PART-TIME LOCUM SPECIALTY DOCTOR IN OPHTHALMOLOGY 7 SESSIONS (28 HOURS PER WEEK) Applications are invited for the post of Part- Time Locum Specialty Doctor in Ophthalmology. This post is available for a fixed term period of 6 months in the first instance from November 2016 and covers 7 sessions (28 hours per week). The reason for this 6 month fixed term post is for service provision. The Eye Department provides ophthalmic care to Tayside. Although based in Ninewells in Dundee the proposed job may involve travelling to peripheral clinics. The composition of the job will be dictated by the experience of the successful candidate and the demands of the service. There are good library facilities at Ninewells Hospital and active teaching and research programmes in which participation is expected and encouraged.
