Description: Our client provides medical imaging services to more than 400,000 patients in the UK each year, employing 850 people in a UK network of 50 centres and approximately 40 mobile scanners
Person Specification: The ideal candidates have a background in nuclear medicine and be experienced in handling and dispensing radiopharmaceuticals, although this would be a great opportunity for a radiographer to develop in this modality. A high level of competency in cannulation is also required.
Consideration will be given to applicants who are Radiographers or Clinical Technician’s looking to develop their career in PET/CT. Applicants will have HCPC registration or equivalent voluntary registration with the appropriate professional body. (If a Radiographer)
The successful candidate will have a flexible and patient-focussed attitude and be able to work flexibly within a small team. More specifically they are looking for someone who can build an excellent rapport with patients and customers (both internal and external) and continue to provide high standards of care and service. Excellent written and verbal communication skills and IT literacy are essential.
Cross sectional PET-CT experience an advantage
The hours of work are Monday to Sunday, 40 hours per week.
Portsmouth can also offer part time 20 hour post.
