At Spire Manchester Hospital we never compromise our commitment to exceptional standards. We provide comprehensive private hospital care for patients throughout Greater Manchester and the surrounding areas.
We are looking for a qualified and experienced Pharmacist who is looking for the challenge of delivering a comprehensive hospital pharmacy service at Spire Manchester Hospital. As a Pharmacist at Spire, you won’t just be based in the Pharmacy itself, you will have lots of contact with patients to discuss their pharmaceutical requirements, review medication history, current prescriptions and relevant clinical data.
All our clinical teams are focused on delivering personalised care, and our Pharmacists play a key role in treating patients with empathy and compassion. You’ll also provide advice and support to consultants, nurses and other clinicians ensuring the safe, appropriate and cost effective use of medicines throughout the hospital. One of the things our Pharmacists enjoy most about working at Spire is the feeling of being in a team with the wider hospital. Our hospitals are relatively small, enabling you to build strong working relationships with colleagues and consultants and to work together to improve patient outcomes.
It is a great place to develop your skills, because here at Spire we are always looking for our Pharmacists to keep up to date with the latest developments in prescribing practice. This can lead to opportunities for you to implement new processes or procure new equipment to improve health outcomes and increase safety throughout the hospital. We are also regularly broadening the range of clinical services we offer, which brings opportunities for our Pharmacists to advance their knowledge in treating different patient groups, conditions and treatments.
All applications for this vacancy should be received by 31st October 2016.

Applications from job seekers who require Tier 2 sponsorship to work in the UK are welcome and will be considered alongside all other applications. The UK Visas and Immigration department requires employers to complete this test to show that no suitably qualified EEA or EU worker can fill the post. For further information please visit the UK Visas and Immigration website.
