Pharmacist Specialist - Surgery / Critical Care
An opportunity for a Specialist Clinical Pharmacist in surgical services to cover maternity leave has arisen in the recently opened Queen Elizabeth University Hospital. You will provide patient focussed clinical services to surgical patients and be an active member of the multidisciplinary team, advising and promoting the safe effective use of medicines and supporting technician led medicines management initiatives. You will gain experience in a variety of surgical specialties including critical care. It is essential you have a Masters Degree in Pharmacy or equivalent with significant post registration experience and have completed the Scottish Hospital Vocational Training Scheme Stage II or equivalent. You should also be a member of the General Pharmaceutical Council of Great Britain. Flexibility and good communication skills are essential as well as an ability to work as part of a team. The post holder will participate in a 5 out of 7 day work pattern and will be required to participate in weekend working, public holiday service and on call.
