We are seeking an enthusiastic individual to join our small team of hard-working and dedicated phlebotomists at Darlington Memorial Hospital. Experience in phlebotomy is essential and any candidate invited for interview will be required to demonstrate practical ability during the interview process.
Excellent communication skills are essential to this role as is a friendly and courteous manner when dealing with patients, their families and fellow colleagues.
You will be able to take part in the delivery of a seven day service to wards working on a rotational basis. There is a requirement to work flexibly and you may be required to work at other sites within the Trust as directed by service need.
As a member of the Transfusion Team you will be encouraged to participate in continual professional development.
