Job Description

Physical Health Care Nurse (RGN) - Bury, Manchester - Salary Up to £32,000 per annum

Full Time - Permanent

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Registered General Nurse (RGN) to work within an established Physical Health Team within a larger specialist mental hospital. The post holder will be responsible for monitoring the physical health of patients and working closely with the nurse Practitioner.

As part of one of the UK's largest independent providers of mental health care, this mental health Hospital in Bury, Manchester is a fantastic place to build your career, with opportunities available across 14 specialist wards, offering a range of mental health services including specialist Deaf, Personality Disorder and Tier 4 CAMHS services.

The role will involve co-ordinating the GP clinic on a weekly basis, taking responsibility for referring patients if other health professional involvement is indicated, ensuring that documentation is completed i.e. GP notes, physical health monitoring forms and physical health care plans. The role will involve liaising with the teams on each clinical area, responding to the educational needs of patients and becoming involved in the training of staff as required.

•As a Physical Health Care Nurse (RGN), you will have:
•An RGN qualification
•A current registration with the NMC
•The legal right to work in the UK
