Child Development Centre

Hours: 3375 hours per week
Band: 3
Salary: £16,800 to £19,655 pa (pro rata)

Essential Requirements: Driving licence and ability to travel to meet the needs of the post as it is community-based.

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic individual with experience of working with children to support the physiotherapists and occupational therapists at the Child Development Centre as a Band 3 Technical Instructor.

The successful candidate will work under the supervision of therapists as part of a multiprofessional team, providing a service to children, young people and their families with mostly physical, rehabilitational and developmental needs.

Based at the Child Development Centre in Northallerton, you will work to support therapy programmes in clinics, hydrotherapy and community locations including special schools, mainstream schools, nursery and in children's home environments.

Part of this role will involve administrative tasks to support clinical interventions therefore excellent organisational/ IT skills are required. An understanding of child development and experience of working with children with health needs and of the NHS would be an advantage.
