In addition to receiving tertiary referrals from across the South East of England, QVH is continuing to develop a network of ‘spoke’ sites at district general hospitals enabling our consultants to offer their expertise with routine treatments and consultations as close to close to patients’ homes as is possible.

Physiotherapist – Rotational

An excellent opportunity exists for an enthusiastic Physiotherapist to join our well established therapy department providing assessment and treatment in both general and specialist fields of physiotherapy.

The Queen Victoria Hospital is an ambitious acute Foundation Trust proud of its heritage and reputation for clinical excellence and support of its staff. We are a regional specialist unit for hands and burns and we have a dynamic training program with teams committed to clinical excellence. We offer excellent continuing professional development, clinical and managerial supervision and encourage staff to actively engage with service development and improvement.

We will offer you the opportunity to develop skills and expertise in specialist clinical areas by supporting both internal and external training. We will offer the opportunity to work within supportive and well established general and specialist teams with opportunities for career progression within the Trust.

Rotations are currently on a 6 monthly basis including:

  • Musculoskeletal outpatients
  • Burns/ITU/Max Facs/General Plastics
  • Hands/Plastics (split with a small amount of outpatient neuro)
