Do you have experience of working with oncology patients and or an interest in further developing skills in this area of practice?
We are recruiting a Band 6 physiotherapist to be based predominantly on the Oncology ward at Lincoln County Hospital and with patients following surgery linked to cancer, throughout the hospital. The successful applicant will join a wider 60 strong Physiotherapy team, who provide a very supportive network. This new post will be working with patients presenting with diverse and complex conditions within the specialism. You will be working largely within the hospital wards and there is an opportunity to work on service development projects within this speciality, including developing prehab packages of care for oncological surgical patients.
You will receive supervision to take the form of regular training and peer review, and will have access to advice and support from an experienced Team Lead Physiotherapist.
All Band 6 physiotherapists benefit from protected CPD time, as well as the opportunity to attend locally organised courses run by nationally accredited tutors.
The post will be full time, and will work as part of a 7 day service and will include participation on a respiratory evening on–call service.
