Band 7 Rotational Physiotherapist –
375 hours a week – Fixed Term Until Sept 2018
Whittington Health is situated in North London and delivers high quality health care to the residents of Haringey and Islington; both in the community and through the Whittington Hospital. The MSK Physiotherapy service covers a broad range of services and as a band 7 physiotherapist you will have the chance to gain experience in adult MSK out-patients across a variety of sites across Haringey, Islington and in the Whittington Hospital.
Post holder will act as a Site Team leader for a designated site (on a 12 month rotational basis) and be responsible for the operational day to day management of that site, including the overview of appointment availability and productivity on this site. Band 7 physiotherapists provide Clinical Leadership to the team on a on a daily basis, whilst contributing to the on-going training and development of staff within the MSK Service as required.
Excellent in-service training, appraisal and personal development programmes are well established for all staff and all departments provide a friendly working environment with supportive and experienced clinicians. We are a large team of dynamic enthusiastic MSK Physiotherapists and our band 7 team have ongoing clinical support from our Extended Scope Practitioners. We are continually developing our service to meet the needs of our local community including a multidisciplinary chronic pain service, an acute spinal service, a Turkish speaking service, education first OA programmes as well as rehabilitation classes which run from local gyms.
You will need to have a caring and mature attitude to work closely with patients and with staff in our fantastic department.
