Brighton and Sussex University Hospitals (BSUH) Trust is the regional teaching hospital working across two sites: the Royal Sussex County Hospital in Brighton and Princess Royal Hospital, Haywards Heath
We are looking for a motivated and enthusiastic individual with good organizational skills to join our friendly Physiotherapy team on the Medical wards at the Princess Royal Hospital.
The job combines a mixture of practical skills including working alongside qualified physiotherapists assisting with patient treatments and rehabilitation and following treatment plans set by Physiotherapists.
The role also entails supporting the administration component of the team including the cleaning and maintenance of equipment, data collection and inputting; some IT skills would be an advantage.
You must have good interpersonal and communication skills, enjoy working as part of a team, be able to take responsibility for new skills learned and be able to complete manual handling tasks. Experience of working in the caring profession and as part of a multi-disciplinary team is an advantage. The successful applicant will work as part of a supportive team and receive training and supervision as needed. An NVQ Level 3 in Diagnostic and Therapeutic Support, Health and Social Care or equivalent qualification/experience would be preferred.
