An excellent and exciting opportunity has arisen for a therapy assistant, who has skills and substantial experience in the rehabilitation of patients with a diagnosis of Stroke, to join the newly developed Specialist Community Stroke Rehabilitation Team.

The team is based at Eagle Bridge Health Centre, Crewe and will provide a predominantly domiciliary service, although established close links with Ward 6, Acute Stroke and Rehabilitation Unit, Leighton Hospital, will be maintained.

We are looking for a dynamic individual with excellent clinical and communication skills. The successful applicant will be keen to be a part of this developing service, have experience of working successfully within the MDT, and with neurological patients. We also require the commitment to contribute to a seven day service for the Early Supported Discharge component of the team as this will be a key part of the role.

Every effort will be made to accommodate special interests and all of our staff are involved in Professional/Peer group meetings with opportunities for continuing professional development.
