Want to be part of our future? Then we want to hear from you.
At Buckinghamshire Healthcare NHS Trust we have a simple vision – safe and compassionate care, every time. We are focussed on a programme of continuous quality improvement, listening to our patients and investing in our workforce to deliver an excellent patient experience. As an integrated Trust we provide acute, community and palliative care in people’s homes, from one of our five community hospitals, or two acute hospitals at Stoke Mandeville and Wycombe.
We are committed to providing staff with learning and development opportunities to support their career progression. We also offer on-site subsidised childcare, childcare vouchers, flexible working and a generous pension.
This opportunity has arisen due to successful internal promotion and we invite you to join our committed and progressive team who work within a highly motivating environment.
You will work in a variety of clinical settings within Buckinghamshire with the aim of delivering excellent care to high need patients in order to maintain their mobility and independence. You must have good general clinical and diagnostic skills as you will be working on your own initiative as well as part of the team. For those new to the NHS, the Trust offers a multi-disciplinary preceptorship scheme.
The post holder is required to have clear communication and interpersonal skills as well as enthusiasm for contributing to this service, which benefits from being part of this Integrated Trust.
Our podiatry service has placement rotations for staff within its own specialist teams, such as Rheumatology, MSK and Diabetes / Wound clinics as well as regular sessions on the nail surgery rota. We meet for monthly staff meetings and clinical reasoning sessions. There will be a small home visiting caseload.
The aim of the Trust is to provide a high quality standard of healthcare to the population we serve. We do not offer London Weighting but we value our staff and can offer excellent opportunities for further training and development, flexible working, a final salary pension scheme and childcare facilities. We are an equal opportunities employer and are constantly striving to improve the working lives of our staff through consultation and awareness sessions.
Please note that we may when necessary be required to close a job prior to the closing date, due to a large number of applications or change in circumstance.
