Post CCT Fellow in Paediatric Dermatology
Applications are invited for a of post-CCT Fellowship in Paediatric Dermatology based at Great Ormond Street Hospital for Children NHS Trust. Great Ormond Street Hospital is a postgraduate teaching hospital, linked with the Institute of Child Health (ICH). The Trust had 368 beds and provides a comprehensive range of paediatric specialties for tertiary level care. The patient population consists of over 20,000 inpatients per annum and 84,000 outpatients.
This post is available from the 1st February 2017 and offers the exciting opportunity to gain extensive experience in paediatric dermatology and to participate in the clinical dermatology service, which aims to provide a world class diagnostic and treatment service for children with severe congenital and acquired skin disease.
The post will include exposure to and training in the out patient and in patient work required to support a tertiary level Children’s Hospital. The post will include the training required to work within the paediatric laser service. The post holder will be expected to develop an area or areas of special interest in line with the needs of the patient groups we care for, and to take part in clinical research within the department.
Applicants will need to have, or be within 6 months of obtaining, paediatric CCT. Possession of experience in paediatric dermatology and laser treatment will be an advantage.

The basic salary for this post is £47, 175 pro rata, per annum plus £2, 162 pro rata, per annum London Weighting.
