Part Time Practice Nurse at Shelford Medical Practice
We are a friendly local teaching practice, providing high quality primary care to nearly 9000 patients. We are looking to develop our nursing team to support patients with long term conditions and to replace our retiring asthma nurse. This advert is for a part time replacement nurse. We are also looking to recruit staff who are part qualified/ or returners / or would like to train. (See separate advert).
Practice Nurse -We are looking for a qualifiednurse experienced in or looking to develop skills in primary care . The right candidate will be flexible, enthusiastic and keen to learn. You will work collaboratively within a multi-disciplinary general practice team to meet the needs of our patients. Daily responsibilities will include dressings, cervical cytology, immunisations and travel vaccinations, patient education and a chance to develop specialist interests.
Duties may include health checks, phlebotomy, measurements for patients with long term conditions, ear care, ECGs and working with the nursing team to provide seasonal immunisations and support for minor ops and procedures. Training in specific areas can be provided.
Salary will be commensurate with role and experience.
