We need you to provide an exemplary pre-assessment service for patients. It’s a chance to develop your management skills as you support the Pre-assessment Lead Nurse in the delivery of a robust and efficient service, including taking the lead in her absence. This key role will see you developing our practice in both assessing and addressing patients’ individual health and wellbeing needs, including comparing current practices, trends and developments against appropriate benchmarks. An excellent role model, you will develop a working culture that actively improves health and safety.

Job Requirements

A registered nurse with a passion for caring, you will bring considerable experience in the pre-assessment field, including working as a practitioner in and across multi-disciplinary and pre-assessment teams. Ready to drive excellence and challenge consultants to influence evidence-based practice, you will be fully conversant with developments in the pre-assessment field. It’s likely you’ll be working towards a clinical degree. You will definitely be NMC registered with infection control and health and safety training. Above all, you’ll have the leadership flair to ensure we succeed together.
