Newham Health Collaborative (NHC) is a newly formed company (GP Federation) wholly owned by GP practices across the London Borough of Newham, serving the needs of 400,000 patients. Its purpose is two-fold: to provide a range of extended healthcare services to local residents and to support GP practices in improving the quality of their services and becoming sustainable for the future. NHC’s plans extend beyond primary care to delivery of children’s, community and specialist services.

Primary Care Development Manager
Stratford, London E15
12-24 months’ fixed-term contract (includes opportunity for appointment on a secondment basis from another healthcare organisation)
You will engage with GP practices in order to identify new ways of working for the NHC that will improve patient access and experience, including liaison with the Newham Clinical Commissioning Group to facilitate and share good practice across the local communities.
You will also identify support requirements for GP Practices to be delivered by the NHC that will improve the quality and sustainability of services offered by GP Practices in line with local population needs and commissioner requirements.
Furthermore, you will implement agreed Primary Care initiatives and developments from initial project planning through to completion and support Cluster-based Directors in regular cluster meetings.
Passionate about high quality patient-focused services, you will demonstrate effective team-working and communication skills, coupled with your ability to network and successfully manage multiple projects and delivery programmes.
Current or recent experience of working with GP practices and developing local healthcare services is essential in this role.
