Opcare has an exceptional opportunity to join the prosthetic team in Manchester. The role would suit a junior prosthetist who is looking to move to one of the most prominent prosthetic services in Europe.
Having recently relocated the service, the successful candidate will join a large and experienced, consultant led team in state of the art facilities.
On site gait lab, first class manufacturing and modern clinical environment are just some of the stand out features of the SACM.
The successful applicant will join an established team of 10 Prosthetists and work alongside a varied MDT including Rehab consultants, Specialist Physios & OTs, Nursing staff and Counsellors.
As a regional hub centre, the SACM provides prosthetic care to one of the largest amputee populations in Europe with continued opportunities to train, develop skill and advance your career.
Links to the local Salford University provide ongoing opportunities to engage in R&D to push the knowledge and understanding of our profession.
The position will provide a nurturing and supporting environment to optimise the clinical development of an eager and enthusiastic Prosthetist.
The successful applicant will need to have obtained a BSc in Prosthetics and Orthotics or other suitable and appropriate qualifications, be registered with HCPC and ideally be a member of BAPO.
