East and North Hertfordshire NHS Trust is a community which prides itself on providing the highest standard of healthcare services to our patients. We are in the top three NHS hospital groups in the East of England for size and number of patients. We have recently invested £150 million in services and buildings, which has created some fantastic environments to work in.
The department has CR/DR systems, integrated with Carestream PACS and encompass a comprehensive range of equipment including DR general and dental rooms, flat plate interventional room, CT, MRI, Breast Imaging, Dexa Scanning, Nuclear Medicine.and a wide range of Ultrasound services. CT training will be provided, as CT forms a significant portion of our workload.
The successful candidates will be based at the Lister Hospital but will be expected to participate in a cross site rota provided on the Trust’s two other hospital sites in Welwyn Garden City and Hertford.
We pride ourselves on being a friendly, energetic department with a lively calendar of social events. There is a strong culture of team work and staff development, with CPD being actively encouraged and supported.
The department operates a 7 day shift pattern extended working day so a flexible approach to work patterns is essential.
