BMI Healthcare’s Park Hospital has a vacancy for a Radiographer (Bank) to join their team of staff in the Imaging department.

This is a bank role working on an “as and when required” basis, you will be required to supplement staffing levels during busy periods and provide cover for existing staff in times of annual leave or absence.

Applicants should meet the following criteria:

  • DCR/BSc degree in diagnostic radiology or equivalent qualification to meet registration requirements.
  • Registered with HCPC.
  • Post registration experience relevant to role. However all levels of experience will be considered including return to work candidates.
  • Previous experience in CT/MRI would be ideal but not essential.
  • Good communication & interpersonal skills

Duties of this role include:

  • To perform all radiological procedures, within the department, on the ward, in theatre and in the catheter lab, as required, in accordance with department protocols and lonising Radiation (Medical Exposure) regulations (IRMER.)
  • Support radiologist sessions, assist with interventional procedures.
  • To check that all equipment is in good working order before use and report any faults immediately to the appropriate team member.
  • To maintain a clean, tidy, and safe working environment.
  • To ensure all equipment faults reported
