Job Description


We are seeking to recruit highly motivated, dedicated and passionate diagnostic HCPC registered Radiographers to join our existing patient care led team, providing award winning care for patients whilst undergoing all types of angiographic interventional procedures.

This is an exciting time to consider joining our existing workforce with many new developments in the pipeline and all of our interventional staff are dedicated to providing and supporting the patients pathway.

Training will be delivered in all aspects of Angiography; which includes cardiac, vascular and neuro imaging. The training will involve development of a full set of knowledge, skills and competencies in the use of Philips angiography equipment and all the procedures undertaken. Any training will be tailored to the individuals needs depending upon their level of current experience.

The angiography suites at NGH consists of 6 labs all utilising Philips Allura equipment, with planned refurbishment in the coming years of 3 of these. The remaining 3 are Philips Allura FD10’s (with new dual axis rotational and 3D reconstruction software) and a newly installed EP Cockpit with 3D ATG.

The Vascular unit consists of 2 interventional suites both utilising Philips Allura clarity equipment and undertakes a wide range of vascular interventional procedures.

The angiography unit at RHH has undergone refurbishment with the installation of a Philips Allura Clarity FD20 and a Philips Allura clarity FD 20/10. These rooms provide a variety of specialised imaging services for the Neuro, GI, urology and respiratory medicine directorates. Recent advances in technology now allow improved imaging capability with the opportunity to develop 3D and x-Per CT techniques.
