Join us, and we’ll help you make the most of your time, both in and outside of work.

We require a senior radiographer to join our state-of-the-art radiology department.

Our Radiology Department, with its state-of-the-art technology, enjoys a friendly, dedicated and multi-disciplinary team which is committed to delivering high quality diagnostic imaging, through a range of radiographic procedures over 12 hours days. The successful applicant should have a flexible attitude to working.

An experienced, registered practitioner, you will hold a UK recognised BSc in Diagnostic Radiography, as well as a current HPC registration. You will be a skilled and accredited Radiographer with experience in General X ray, fluoroscopy, Theatre & CT Radiography.

You should have an interest in developing your skills in CT, and be prepared to work weekends and on call.

We are looking for someone who has well-developed people skills and will be happy to support/supervise non-HPC registered staff as well as the mentoring of more junior members of the team.

Nuffield Heath is Britain’s largest and most pioneering healthcare charity, integrating fitness and well-being, prevention and cure. We’ve brought together our hospitals, clinics, fitness & wellbeing centres as well as our diagnostic units into one holistic healthcare service provided from over 200 locations. A not-for-profit organisation, we reinvest every penny we make into helping the people of Britain to lead healthier, happier lives. In today’s healthcare market, we’re in an enviably strong position.

Situated in an attractive area of Jesmond, The Nuffield Health Newcastle Hospital is a thriving, modern facility with 35 beds, three operating theatres, two with laminar flow, and a growing range of clinical services. We are continually developing our services, consolidating our position as a centre of excellence in the North East.

So we promise to support you with training, career development and our unique health and wellbeing focused benefits. This includes free membership of your nearest Nuffield Health gym, physiotherapy services and an annual health assessment, as well as a range of lifestyle and financial wellbeing benefits such as childcare vouchers and a retirement savings plan. We really value the time you give to care, so you can be sure that we’ll reward you properly.
